Pino Pischetola, know as “Pinaxa”, is one of the greatest and renowned sound engineer in Italy. In his studio great artist such as Franco Battiato, Adriano Celentano, Lorenzo “Jovanotti” Cherubini, Gianna Nannini, Eros Ramazzotti, Tiziano Ferro, Alex Britti, etc have recorded and mixed.

In 2007 he delegated Architect Dario Paini, specialist in planning of space for the sound, the realisation of its new recording studio in city of Milan. Pino Pischetola’s desire was to create, at home, a “true” studio and not residential, where insert harmoniously the typical materials of this creative environments such as wood, fabric and stone. The studio is composed by three principal settings, one relax room, one big and equipped control booth and a small room for the recording, everything aimed at mixing and finalizing record works. The architect choose as stone to clad some of the studio’s walls, our SCAGLIA model in Bianco Terra shade, that perfectly matches with the light toned walls and with warmer tone of wood. In keeping with his forward-thinking attitude, Pino Pischetola recently updated his studio to make it the first Dolby Atmos certified mixing room in Italy. New technology and new color on the walls but our stone still remains, with a pinch of pride, as the background for great musicians in the recording room.
